Late on the evening of September 28, a magnitude 3.0 earthquake was recorded in the Lviv region on the Richter scale. The information was confirmed by the relevant regional seismic monitoring services.
The epicenter is located near the village of Pidhirtsi near Stryi, at a depth of about 4 km. The exact coordinates are approximately 49.25° N latitude and 23.92° E longitude.
According to experts, this event was felt as a weak earthquake. The shaking is usually noticeable indoors, especially on the upper floors of residential buildings.
In the relevant services, they stressed that if any residents felt the tremor, they should stay indoors and report the effects to help refine the energy parameters of the event and continue monitoring.
