Yesterday, September 28, around 15:30, in Kupiansk a 67-year-old local resident sustained injuries from an artillery shelling. The woman was transported to Kharkiv Regional Clinical Hospital for medical treatment. This information was confirmed by Andriy Kanashyevich, head of the Kupiansk District Military Administration.
“On September 28, around 15:30, Zaoskolianska Street, Kupiansk, as a result of enemy shelling, a 67-year-old woman sustained injuries. She was hospitalized at Kharkiv Regional Clinical Hospital”
The spokesperson for the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Anna Gontar, said that the affected person has injuries to the head, chest, abdomen, and limbs, and she was taken to a medical facility in the Shevchenkivskyi district for further care.
“Spokeswoman for the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Anna Gontar, told the public broadcaster that as a result of the shelling the 67-year-old woman, who was handed over to medical staff in Shevchenkove, sustained injuries to the head, chest, abdomen, and limbs.”
Law enforcement authorities and the military are now establishing the circumstances of the incident. The information is being coordinated with official sources, and work to determine the causes is ongoing.
