The ‘European Solidarity’ party came up with the statement regarding yesterday’s detention of pro-Russian politician Viktor Medvedchuk who had earlier escaped from home arrest.
‘European Solidarity’ welcomes the fact that the SBU has found and detained the leader of the banned ‘Opposition platform for life’ party.
‘Medvedchuk must be punished in accordance with the law on collaborators. All collaborators must be brought to justice,’ – the statement goes.
This applies not only to outright traitors, but also to those who have been promoting the Kremlin’s agenda in the information space for years as well as those who were directly involved in the Maidan shooting and still work in government offices.
‘Today is the right time to get rid of collaborators and traitors. This is a condition for the survival of the country and the desire of all Ukrainian citizens,’ the statement concludes.
