During the night, Russian troops hit the territory of Sumy region bordering to Russia with artillery strikes.

The enemy used heavy artillery and mortars, and multiple launch rocket systems. Top presidential official Kyrylo Tymoshenko said on Telegram that about 100 rockets and shells targeted residential areas and civilian infrastructure.

The strikes caused damage to residential houses, a culture facility and electricity supply lines.

No casualties have been reported.
