Czech analysts from Online Risk Labs have identified 286 anonymous TikTok accounts that regularly spread pro-Russian narratives and support radical political forces ahead of the Czech parliamentary elections, scheduled for October 3–4, 2025. The group notes that these accounts actively inflame discussions on social media and may shape public opinion during the important pre-election period.
According to experts, these accounts gather between 5 and 9 million views per week, exceeding the reach of the leaders of the major parties.
The accounts do not align with a single political force, but rather demonstrate support for several radical and extremist parties simultaneously
The Czech telecommunications regulator CTU also recorded complaints about hundreds of TikTok accounts.
We have deemed these complaints timely and forwarded them to the European Commission as the supervisory authority for large platforms
The identified accounts allegedly expressed support for the far-right party “Freedom and Direct Democracy” (SPD), which, according to polls, ranks third with an estimated share of around 13%, as well as for the ultra-left party “Enough!” (Stačilo!), which has a little over 5% and could enter Parliament. Additionally, both forces express anti-NATO and anti-European positions, advocating for a change in the country’s course.
Online Risk Labs noted that the candidates promoted in the posts might not have known about it. In particular, the party “Enough!” stated that it did not use any fake accounts and denied any foreign influence over its campaign.
