Dolly Parton Postpones Las Vegas Residency to 2026 Due to Health Concerns

Schedule changes and new show dates

Six performances were planned at the Caesars Palace Colosseum from December 4 to 13 – her first Las Vegas residency in more than 30 years. Those dates have now been moved to September 2026.

Current tickets remain valid for the new dates, and refunds are available as well, according to the announcement.

“Perhaps it’s time for my 100,000-mile check-up, though this isn’t the usual trip to my plastic surgeon!”

Despite health issues, Parton hasn’t lost her sense of humor – joking, she noted that she told the doctors: “Perhaps it’s time for my 100,000-mile check-up, though it’s not the usual trip to my plastic surgeon!”

The singer also said she doesn’t plan to leave show business: “While I can continue working on all my Nashville projects, I need a little time to prepare the show, as they say. And rejoice that I’m not going to leave the stage, because God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet.”

This year Parton lost the husband she had lived with for six decades. In July she said on the Khloé Kardashian podcast that she was taking a break from writing new music to say goodbye to him.

In November Parton is set to receive the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for “unyielding dedication to charity” – an honorary award for contributions to society.

Fans continue to support the star, and she herself promises to return to the stage with renewed energy and to work on future projects in Nashville.
