Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, various facilities across the territory of the Russian Federation have come under air strikes. Most often in 2024 and 2025, the targets of attacks were oil refineries.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, most attacks were confirmed, stating that the Armed Forces of Ukraine “systematically implement measures aimed at reducing the combat potential of Russian occupying troops, as well as pressuring the Russian Federation to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine”.
