Consequences of a Russian UAV strike on a gas station in Poltava District. Suspilne Poltava

In the Poltava district on September 17, there was an attack on a gas station, resulting in six people being injured. According to the regional prosecutor’s office, one woman and five men were among the injured, all of whom were hospitalized.
Among the injured are five drivers and a station employee. The woman is in a serious condition and was transported to the hospital under medical supervision.
The gas station building also sustained damage. According to preliminary information, the attack was carried out by strike drones.
A criminal proceeding has been opened under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – a war crime. The penalty for such an act can range from eight to twelve years in prison.
The investigation materials have been forwarded to the relevant law enforcement authorities. Information about the progression of the case will be coordinated with official authorities. The incident is being investigated by local law enforcement and the regional prosecutor’s office.
