On September 30 in Konotop, during the downing of enemy Shahed drones, a 79-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound: an air defense round hit his abdomen. The incident occurred in the city center during active air raid alert. The injured man was immediately transported to the hospital, where he is now being prepared for emergency surgery.
According to city mayor Artem Semenikhin, the strike on the city caused serious damage to critical infrastructure and posed a threat to the civilian population.
