According to RIA “Novosti Crimea”, citing the occupying rescuers, the area of the fire at the oil depot in the occupied Feodosia is 637 square meters.

A fire broke out at an oil storage facility in the temporarily occupied Feodosia. According to the adviser to the so-called head of Crimea, Kryuchkov, the blaze allegedly occurred due to a violation of welding procedures in an empty container.

According to him, firefighting units from Russia’s EMERCOM are involved; the Feodosia oil depot is not in the fuel-supply cycle to Crimean gas stations, and residual mazut is burning in one of the old tanks.

The area of the blaze, according to the occupying authorities, was 637 square meters. 69 rescuers and 22 units of equipment were involved in the response.

“An empty tank caught fire at the Feodosia oil depot. Welding procedures were violated. EMERCOM units are working. The Feodosia oil depot is not involved in the fuel-supply cycle to Crimean gas stations. Residual mazut is burning in one of the old tanks”

After the incident, the occupiers blocked traffic across the Crimean Bridge and suspended sea connections in Sevastopol twice due to aviation safety concerns. Local residents post footage of the fire in emergency channels.

As of September 29, 2025, the area of the blaze remained at 637 m², firefighting efforts continued, and a helicopter was overhead at the site.

“Their actions show signs of criminal offenses under Article 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ‘Threat or violence against a law enforcement officer’ and Article 194 ‘Intentional destruction or damage to property’. The relevant notices have been sent to the National Police”

Impact on the region and authorities’ actions

In Sevastopol, restrictions on fuel sales were introduced: no more than 30 liters per transaction at gas stations of the TES network. The occupiers promised to restore supply: within two days – gas stations with AI-95 gasoline, within two weeks – with AI-92 fuel.

The Ukrainian side confirms that the occupiers’ actions affect logistics: some deliveries previously arrived via the Crimean Bridge and by sea, but after the strikes shipments are being redirected to road transport.
