In the first hundred days of the government led by Yulia Sviridenko, the focus was on settling key directions: security and defense, economic and social stability, development of energy and support for frontline regions. These priorities remained the foundation of the government’s work during this period and guided the planned steps.
The Prime Minister announced this in a Facebook post commemorating the hundred days at the helm of the Cabinet, emphasizing the substantive nature of the achievements during this time.
“We are focused on the key: security and defense, economic and social stability, energy and support for frontline regions”
According to the head of government, during this period there has been a scale-up of Ukrainian weapons production and active coordination with partners to meet the needs of the Ukrainian armed forces.
The modernization of the Defence Forces continues. Thus, today a decision was made to introduce the ‘Impulse’ personnel accounting system and electronic TRCs.
The government is working on digitizing services to simplify citizens’ interaction with the state system – e-Excise, e-Notary, e-Court and e-Marriage. They also launched a single platform for all veterans’ services – Veteran.Pro. The list of services available in Diia is expanding.
One of the priorities has remained support for frontline territories and residents of these regions.
Support for frontline regions and social initiatives
“We increased salaries for doctors and allowances for teachers, provided free meals for grades 1 through 11 this year, and 100% coverage for employees of businesses in communities where fighting is near. Today we launched a mechanism to compensate military risks in frontline territories, which will start in November”
Within the 2026 budget, the government prepared a draft that includes programs for people over 40 and higher pay for teachers. Also ongoing are programs that support the economy within the framework of the “Made in Ukraine” policy.
Additionally, the government focused on strengthening energy security and protecting critical infrastructure. Sviridenko assured that reserves are being prepared and cooperation with regional administrations, local authorities, and international partners is being established.
In the international arena, the government launched the Reconstruction Fund together with the United States, where the first donations have already arrived. The screening of legislation has also been completed, and negotiations on joining the European Union are being prepared to begin. They opened a new European rail corridor – direct trains from Uzhhorod to Bratislava, Vienna, and Budapest.
Moreover, $12.5 billion was attracted from partners to support the state budget: $9.4 billion through an ERA loan and $3.05 billion through the Ukraine Facility.
“All of this is in line with the Action Program, whose priorities we are turning into concrete decisions”
The government also decided to implement from November 1 automatic extensions of deferrals, digital processing, and the ability to submit documents through the Centers for Administrative Services to simplify processes for citizens.
