Hinge’s new policy on rule violations brings a fairer approach: the service will no longer remove an entire account for a single mistake in a profile, but flags the specific violation and removes its public visibility. As a result, your profile will remain active, but will be hidden from the Discover section until the mistake is corrected.
The company also explains the reason for the flag, sends an email and a push notification, and the app displays a prompt to update your profile.
