Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz announced the successful destruction of Iran’s “internal security headquarters” by Israeli military forces. According to him, this structure was responsible for repression within the country. He reported this on the social network X.

“The tornado continues to strike Tehran. Air Force planes have just destroyed the internal security headquarters of the Iranian regime – the main organ of repression of the Iranian dictator.”

This statement came after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported airstrikes by Israeli aviation on military targets belonging to the Iranian regime in Tehran.

On the night of June 13, the Israeli Air Force launched an aerial operation aimed at destroying Iran’s nuclear program. They struck dozens of targets across Iran, including facilities related to uranium enrichment and other military infrastructures.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized that the operation’s goal is “to strike Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, its ballistic missile factories, and military capabilities.” He also noted that the operation will continue until the mission is fully accomplished.

As a result of these attacks, high-ranking Iranian officials were killed, including the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Hossein Salami, and the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Mohammad Bagheri, according to the Iranian state news agency.

Following the Israeli strikes, several countries closed their airspace. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) expressed concern over the attacks on nuclear facilities, while Iran assured that its nuclear sites did not suffer serious damage.

In response to Israel’s attacks, Iran launched over 100 drones toward Israeli territory.

On June 13 and 14, Israel continued to carry out airstrikes on Iranian cities housing key defense installations and military bases.

At an emergency UN Security Council meeting on June 13, Iran officially accused the United States of involvement in the Israeli strikes on its territory. Washington denied these accusations and called on Tehran to negotiate over its nuclear program.
