Kyiv Charity Fair Raises Funds for 47th Brigade Defenders and Highlights Missing Soldiers

Today, September 28, in Kyiv, on the grounds of the VDNH, a charity fair was held with the aim of supporting the defenders from the 47th Mechanized Brigade and drawing attention to missing in action and captured servicemen. Information was provided by a reporter on the scene.

Families of soldiers from the 47th Mechanized Brigade gathered at the fair to raise funds for the unit’s needs. According to the organizers, they plan to purchase five ATVs and ten drones; the total amount they hope to raise is four million hryvnias.

At the event, a variety of goods and treats were offered: homemade pastries, handmade crafts, knitted items, jewelry, and books. Most of the items were donated by families and friends of the servicemen from different corners of the country.

Inna, a participant of the fair, said that among the goodies were pancakes prepared at home, sausages in pastry, cheese-and-ham turnovers, a chicken-and-fish pie, pastila and other sweets. According to her, all of this is homemade pastries brought by the participants.

At the fair, almost all displayed items were handmade, and the goods were sent from different regions of Ukraine. The organizers noted that the goal of the event was to raise funds for the needs of the 47th Mechanized Brigade and to support the families of the servicemen.

Among the exhibits there was also a memory stand with photographs of the fallen and missing-in-action soldiers. The organizers believe that such a format helps draw attention to the fate of the servicemen and underscore the importance of supporting them in society.

Such charitable events emphasize the importance of supporting defenders and the solidarity of the community, which is ready to join in good deeds and help those who need support now.
