Latvia delivered 21 Patria armored personnel carriers to Ukraine. The transfer took place at the Ādaži military base near Riga. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported this. The vehicles will immediately enter service with the Special Operations Forces. In total, Latvia delivered 42 armored personnel carriers to Ukraine in 2025. Latvia also provided Ukraine with 12 CVR(T) combat reconnaissance vehicles, which are part of the previously announced package of military aid.

Latvia will also allocate an additional €2.2 million to participate in the PURL initiative and provide financial assistance to the Shelters Coalition in Ukraine.
