About the Prize

The PinchukArtCentre Prize is one of the most prestigious art awards in Ukraine, given to young artists under 35 years old. The winner receives not only a cash reward but also an automatic nomination for the international Future Generation Art Prize 2026, opening new horizons on the global art scene.

This year’s exhibition, which began in February, showcased works by 20 finalists from various cities across Ukraine. They presented a wide range of media, including painting, video art, installations, performances, and interdisciplinary practices.

A special recognition outside the competition was given to Veronika Kozhushko – an artist from Kharkiv who tragically died on August 30, 2024, as a result of a Russian missile strike.
