Lviv Plans New Military Burial Section at Lychakiv Cemetery

According to Yevhen Boyko’s Facebook page

In Lviv, on the Field of Honor at Lychakiv Cemetery, there are only 20 spots left for the burial of servicemen. In the near future, they plan to open a new section to meet the needs of the city’s memorial space. This information was published on the Facebook page by Yevhen Boyko, the executive secretary of the Lviv City Council’s Executive Committee.

“For more than a year we have been exploring various options, and soon we will present a new area that will accommodate the bravest sons and daughters of Ukraine. This location was previously discussed with the working group on commemorating the Heroes of the National Liberation Struggles for Ukraine’s Independence, whose members include veterans, families of the fallen, architects, scientists, veterans and other experts”

Planned expansion for the Field of Honor burials

Details about the new Field of Honor plot are expected to be announced soon.
