On early morning Wednesday, Russian troops hit the city of Zaporizhzhya with a missile strike.

Local governor Oleksandr Starukh reported on Telegram that the attack targeted the objects of civilian infrastructure.

He added that the attack took place at about 9:30 am and warned local population of possible unexploded fragments in the area.

The emergency services are working on the sites, the information on casualties is being checked.
