In memory of Savita Vagner, the German combat medic who served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and died while carrying out a combat mission in the east of the country, volunteers from Germany handed over a mobile hospital to Kherson region.
This was reported in a Telegram post by the Kherson Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.
“Kherson region has received a mobile hospital from German volunteers. This vehicle was handed over by international partners in memory of the German combat medic Savita Vagner, who served in the Armed Forces and died while carrying out a combat mission in the east of the country,” the statement said.
It is noted that the medic’s mother, Ula Vagner, arrived in Ukraine together with philanthropists to hand over the mobile hospital, which will operate in Kherson region to save lives.
According to the deputy head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Yevhen Ignatenko, this hospital will allow rapid on-site assistance to the injured.
He expressed gratitude to international partners and to the family of the German combat medic for practical and timely support.

As Ukrinform reported, the Netherlands’ Ministry of Defense is negotiating with the national carrier NS about the possibility of purchasing old railway cars to convert them into field hospitals for the military.
Such humanitarian initiatives emphasize the importance of rapid medical aid for those affected in eastern Ukraine and the support from international volunteers.
