Multiple Drone Strikes Hit Kharkiv on September 30, No Casualties Reported

On September 30, Kharkiv again faced mass drone strikes. Over the course of an hour the city endured several drone attacks, with the main hits recorded in the Kyivskyi district and its outskirts.

The first strike occurred around 15:25, when hits were recorded in the Kyivskyi district. About an hour later a second wave of attacks was registered – again in the city’s Kyivskyi district. The city mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed that the strike was named ‘Lightning’ and damaged the road surface; as of 15:43 there were no reports of casualties, later this information was confirmed by the head of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration Oleh Sinehubov.

Approximately at 16:08 Kharkiv was attacked again. The first strike was recorded in the Kyivskyi district, as reported by Terekhov. The second hit, around 16:13, was initially attributed to the Shevchenkivskyi district, but later the data were corrected – the district remained Kyivskyi.

Roughly ten minutes later the Russians delivered five strikes on the city. At 16:35, the head of the Malodanilivska community Oleksandr Gololobov said that the strike fell near one of the community’s settlements; in his words, the area around a local enterprise, which is currently not operating, was damaged. There were no reports of casualties at that time.

The situation in the region remains under the control of civil defense services and law enforcement agencies. Experts continue to assess the damage and potential consequences of the strikes. Residents are advised to follow the safety guidelines during an air alert and stay in shelters until the threat passes.
