In Hanover, the students met with the Minister-President of Lower Saxony, Olaf Lies, at the partner gymnasium. They presented the creative project “House” – posters with photographs and stories about life in Ukraine. The emotional presentation drew the politician’s interest and received high praise in the local media.

The pupils of Oleh Olzhych Lyceum lived with German families, which gave them a better opportunity to get to know the culture, daily life, and to forge friendly ties, as well as to practice German. Advisor to the head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration Andriy Zinchenko took part in the “Hanover Region Open Days” and met with the head of the Department of International Cooperation and Development Policy of the State Chancellery of Lower Saxony, Thomas Nickel.
