As reported by the online media Suspilne.
Amid active discussions on social media regarding the reporting of funds raised for treatment and rehabilitation, Lviv resident Nazariy Husakov, who suffers from spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), decided to share his thoughts on the situation.
He noted that he purchased a significant portion of the necessary medication unofficially.
“I always looked wherever I could. It wasn’t bought officially. Some banks helped me, someone assisted, I had a reserve and I bought it. Some were nearing expiration dates, and to avoid wasting them, people often need the same rehabilitation as I do, because one dose of Evrysdi doesn’t do much.”
This situation sparked many questions and discussions, and Nazariy shared his thoughts about the publicity surrounding his personal story.
