The actress Nicole Kidman and singer Keith Urban have separated after nearly twenty years of marriage. Sources close to the couple confirmed the information, contacting news outlets privately.
The couple married in June 2006; Nicole Kidman is an Oscar winner, and Urban is a four-time Grammy winner in the country genre. They have two daughters: 17-year-old Sandi Rose and 14-year-old Faith Margaret.
News of the split was first reported by unofficial sources, after which other insiders confirmed it. According to people close to the couple, they have been living separately since the summer, and Urban himself does not seek to end the marriage. Subsequently the information was officially confirmed.
