Night Drone Attack in Kyiv Causes Casualties and Damage; Aid Points Opened

A nighttime drone attack by Russian forces on Kyiv on October 26 caused serious damage to residential buildings, resulting in deaths and injuries among residents. Points of Invincibility were deployed for those affected in the Desnianskyi district of the city. This information was confirmed by the head of the Desnianskyi District State Administration, Maksym Bakhmatov.

At the Points of Invincibility, warm tea and water, blankets, and comfortable places to rest and sleep are provided. There are also rooms for mothers and children, and additional social workers and psychologists have been engaged to provide support.

The addresses of the Points of Invincibility are located in educational institutions and other facilities: No. 276 – Serzh Lifarya Street, 14; No. 300 – Chervona Kalyna Avenue, 93-G; No. 301 – Chervona Kalyna Avenue, 93-V; No. 308 – Gradynska Street, 6-B; No. 313 – Liskivska Street, 7-B; also at ZhED-318 – Radunska, 18. Points were also deployed in the Lisovyi district: at School No. 218 – Orest Levytskoho Street, 6-A; at ZhED-302 – Orest Levytskoho Street, 3-B; and at Kindergarten No. 102 – Lisovyi Avenue, 6-B.

Desnianskyi District State Administration explained the procedure in case of damage to housing during attacks. Residents of the Obolon district can contact the information line at the numbers: 066 356 35 20, 044 334 61 02, – said Kyrylo Fesyk.

According to the latest data, three people were killed during the drone attack. Nearly three dozen residents were wounded, including children – the youngest of whom is 4 years old. Some of the injured were hospitalized. Injuries were recorded at three locations in the Obolon and Desnianskyi districts. The work of the relevant services is aimed at providing prompt assistance and eliminating the consequences of the strike.
