Night Drone Attack in Kyiv Injures Three and Damages Building

During the night, as Russia attacked Kyiv, at least three people were injured and hospitalized.

In the Solomyanskyi district, drone debris hit a five-story residential building, partially destroying its facade and sparking a fire that firefighters are working to extinguish.

According to Kyiv City Military Administrator Timur Tkachenko, the incident left signs of damage in Holosiivskyi district, while in the Sviatoshynskyi district the debris fell on open ground.

The injured were given medical care and transported to hospitals for the necessary treatment.

Fire and rescue units and law enforcement agencies are on the scene to determine the circumstances and the origin of the debris; the investigation continues.

Current status of the incident and safety measures for residents

Investigations are underway and witness statements are being collected to determine the source of the strikes and the chronology of the event. Experts are also reviewing surveillance camera footage and assessing the extent of the damage.

The city administration stresses the importance of coordination among the defense forces, emergency responders, and the police to minimize risks in the event of future incidents.

The fire has been localized, however emergency crews continue inspecting nearby buildings for damage and providing assistance to those affected. The investigation continues to determine the exact circumstances and sources of the debris.
