Over 60 Attacks on Ukrainian Rescue Units by Russian Forces

According to Ihor Klymenko’s Telegram channel

In the last three months, Russian forces carried out more than 60 attacks on Ukraine’s State Emergency Service units, resulting in five rescuers killed and more than 30 wounded.

The Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko announced this information on his Telegram channel.

Chronicle of the Latest Attacks on Rescue Workers

According to the minister, on November 5 in the village of Prymorske in the Zaporizhzhia region, Russians deliberately attacked the State Emergency Service vehicle with an FPV drone. Four rescuers sustained injuries of varying severity.

In Kramatorsk, Russian aviation struck the fire station’s premises: the building, a training tower, and more than ten units of specialized equipment; a fire broke out.

“Russia is delivering cynical blows to the people who save others every day. To the equipment that helps in saving lives.”

Such incidents underline the heightened risk for State Emergency Service personnel while performing their duties, especially amid active hostilities, and indicate the need for greater protection and coordination between units.

It is also known that in the Zaporizhzhia district Russians attacked the rescuers’ minibus with an FPV drone.

We must not forget that such incidents highlight the high risk for rescuers during population-rescue operations and demonstrate the need to strengthen protection and coordination of actions among DSNS units.
