In the Donetsk region, the Russian army is suffering increasingly noticeable losses among infantry in the area of responsibility of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade near Dobropillia. Ukrainian defenders are delivering about ten fire strikes against the enemy each day. Such data was disclosed by the brigade’s senior sergeant, with the call sign Stohid.
According to the serviceman, the enemy has intensified its assault actions: units operate in groups along the front line, and the number of combat formations in ranks is increasing. If previously the average daily losses ranged from 2 to 5 people, sometimes up to 10 irrecoverable losses, today the figures reliably reach around ten per day, not counting medical losses or intelligence-confirmed data.
The commentary notes the redeployment of Marine Corps units to the 93rd Brigade’s sector, which led to greater assault activity and higher losses. Thus, in August there was recorded involvement of the Marine Corps and actions by the occupiers, including violations of the laws of war by the 155th Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet.
Marine Corps units entered precisely into the zone of responsibility of our brigade. These are units that have even been noted for violations of the laws of war and war crimes – the 155th Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet.
Intelligence of the 93rd Brigade also notes problems with fuel and lubricants in the Russian army: thanks to strikes on the enemy’s oil-refining sector, the foe faces a fuel shortage, reducing the use of heavy equipment in favor of infantry activity. The infantry are not spared; the infantry are not counted, but they are deployed constantly, while the equipment is used very rarely and episodically, according to his report.
According to intelligence, there is information that the enemy has significant problems with fuel and lubricants, thanks to strikes on the opponent’s oil-refining industry, so they actively employ infantry. The infantry are not spared; they are not counted, but they are employed constantly, while the equipment is used very rarely and episodically
Recent data highlight the growing role of infantry on the front and the difficult logistical and materiel supply situation of the enemy. Currently, the Ukrainian units’ main focus is on maintaining steady progress and reducing the enemy’s capabilities. Maintaining the pace of operations in Donetsk and further reducing the enemy’s offensive potential remain priorities for Ukrainian forces in the region.
