Russian troops continue shelling of the areas in Chernihiv and Sumy regions bordering to Russian Federation.

Ukraine’s State Border Service informs that on June 8, the invaders opened fire at a border checkpoint in Sumy region and damaged its facilities.

Russian shelling also damaged six private houses and electricity transmission line.

In Chernihiv region, the invaders targeted the village of Hirske.

No casualties have been reported.
