In the night leading up to September 28, 2025, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia. The shelling caused a fire. A private house was completely destroyed, and a gas station and its equipment were damaged. Four people were injured.

According to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, nine private houses and 14 high-rise buildings were damaged. Repair crews have already arrived at the scene and are covering the windows with OSB boards.
