Russian Attacks Hit Dnipropetrovsk Region Causing Damage and Injuries

On the night of September 29, 2025, Russian forces carried out strikes on two districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region – Synelnykivskyi and Nikopolskyi districts. As a result of the shelling, one person was injured, residential buildings were destroyed and infrastructure damaged, with several fires reported.

According to Serhiy Lysak, head of the regional military administration, the strikes on the Mezhivska hromada in the Synelnykivskyi district resulted in the injury of a 44-year-old man.

The Pokrovska and Slovianska communities were also subjected to shelling; several fires occurred. The fire engulfed an administrative building, a hotel and three private houses, and one vehicle was destroyed.

The enemy directed heavy artillery and FPV drones at the Nikopol area. The district center, Myrivska and Pokrovska communities were shelled; damage to two residential buildings and a farm outbuilding was recorded. There were no fatalities or injuries among civilians.

The region’s air defense forces destroyed three Russian drones over the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Context of the event and subsequent actions

The region is under the oversight of services: the consequences of the strikes are being addressed, fires are localized, and damaged infrastructure is being restored. Residents are asked to stay in shelters during air raid alerts and to follow the established safety rules.
