On the night of September 16, 2025, Russian drones attacked Velyky Burluk in Kharkiv region, causing a fire at an agricultural enterprise.
According to the Kharkiv region’s State Emergency Service, the strike hit a facility of the enterprise; a warehouse covering about 1,000 square meters caught fire. No people were injured during the incident.
Firefighters promptly contained the fire and are working to extinguish the aftermath; the circumstances of the impact are being clarified. There is currently no threat of the fire spreading, but work continues to achieve full containment.
Impact and Operational Actions
According to the Kharkiv State Emergency Service, eight fires were recorded in the Kharkiv region in a 24-hour period: in the Kupiansky and Iziumskyi districts, outbuildings and dry grass were burning.
The Kharkiv State Emergency Service urges residents to follow safety rules, monitor official updates, and immediately report suspicious activity to the emergency services.
