On October 26, around 14:20 in Sumy, a strike by Russian forces was recorded: a drone hit the roof of one of the high-rise buildings in the Zarichnyi district and caused a fire. The incident was confirmed by the head of the city’s military administration, Serhiy Kryvoshchenko.
According to him, there are no casualties at this time. As of 15:00, the area around the impact site was inspected by firefighters and law enforcement.
According to the city council secretary Artem Kobzar, the attack was carried out using Italmas.
From the morning of October 25 to the morning of October 26, Russian troops carried out 64 shellings in 31 settlements in the Sumy region. According to the regional military administration, there were no civilian fatalities or injuries recorded.
