Russian Drone Strikes Damage Civilian Infrastructure in Kharkiv Region

Following Russian strikes on October 25 in Lozova and Barvinkove in Kharkiv region, civilian infrastructure was damaged.

On October 26, Kharkiv Oblast Governor Oleh Sinehubov and the regional police press service said.

Due to a drone strike in Lozova, a fire broke out at civilian facilities, police said.

According to the head of Kharkiv Oblast State Administration, there was also damage to the region’s energy infrastructure.

Attack consequences and operational information

In Barvinkove and Izium districts, Russians used drones.

According to Kharkiv police, the damage affected electrical grids and railway infrastructure.

During the day, Kharkiv city and the Kharkiv, Lozova, Izium, and Kupiansk districts were under attack.

Russian forces operated using multiple launch rocket systems and drones of various types.

As of now, work to eliminate the consequences, restore power supply and rail traffic, and coordinate the actions of on-site services is ongoing.
