Russian Forces Target Civilian Cargo Vehicle in Sumy Region, Injuring Driver

In the Sumy region, Russians deliberately targeted a civilian cargo truck; the driver was injured.

This was reported by Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“The enemy deliberately struck a civilian cargo truck on the outskirts of the Bilopillia community. As a result of the strike, a 36-year-old man who was transporting groceries to the city was injured.”

The shelling and its consequences

Medical staff provided assistance on the spot – hospitalization was not required.

It is noted that Russians deliberately target civilian transport – people who are simply doing their jobs.

According to the operational briefing, in the past day the enemy carried out 64 shellings across 31 settlements in Sumy region; damage to residential buildings and infrastructure was recorded.
