‘Russian invaders torture civilians in the occupied territories’, – Ukraine’s ombudsperson
Ukrainian ombudsperson Liudmyla Denisova has stated that Russian occupiers torture civilian population, loot, evict people from their homes, steal vehicles and slaughter cattle in the occupied territories of Ukraine. She claims such cases have been registered in Sumy and Kherson regions. The ombudsperson also mentioned incidents with taking civilians hostage and terror towards local residents.
