As reported by the resistance movement “Yellow Ribbon”
In the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian occupiers are using information pressure, intimidating schoolchildren with false information about Ukrainian universities.
This was reported today, October 26, by the Yellow Ribbon resistance movement.
According to activists, in the temporarily occupied territory they conduct a thematic lesson titled “Conversations About What’s Important,” where teachers present discrediting information about educational institutions in Ukraine.
Lesson Content and Information Threat
In particular, high school students are told that in Ukrainian universities they allegedly “teach Russophobia, force people to renounce their faith, beat for speaking Ukrainian, and promote drugs and debauchery”:

The aim of these lessons is to deter young people from enrolling in Ukrainian educational institutions. However, according to statistics, the expected effect has not yet been achieved.

In addition, among the disinformation they spread myths that Ukrainian diplomas are not recognized worldwide, and that graduates with poor grades are sent to frontline positions.
All this creates a threatening information environment for students and their parents in the region where the occupation continues. The resistance movement emphasizes the need to critically assess materials from unverified sources and to adhere to official data regarding Ukrainian education and its recognition worldwide.
