On September 19, Russian forces continued shelling border and frontline areas of the Dnipropetrovsk region, in particular the Nikopol and Synelnykivskyi districts. According to the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, six people were injured as a result of the strikes.
In the Nikopol district, the occupiers used FPV drones in combination with artillery, delivering strikes on Nikopol and the neighboring Marganetska and Pokrovska communities.
According to Lysak, among the injured is a 59-year-old woman who has been hospitalized; the rest of those affected were treated on an outpatient basis.
The consequences of the attacks on Nikopol and Synelnykivshchyna
As a result of the shelling, infrastructure was damaged: 15 private residential houses were destroyed, five outbuildings, three garages and three greenhouses; damage to vehicles was also recorded, and a power transmission line was partially destroyed, along with a sports club.
In the Synelnykivskyi district, the Malomykhailivska and Mezhivska communities were affected – a guided aerial bomb and a drone were directed there.
A 61-year-old man was wounded during the events; he was hospitalized. There was also a fire reported in an administrative building.
The region remains tense, medical and rescue services are operating in a heightened mode, and local services are monitoring the situation and providing aid to the injured.

- Russian forces launched serious attacks on Pavlograd and Nikopol areas in Dnipropetrovsk region, with air defenses intercepting drones and artillery strikes, no civilian casualties reported.
- Senior lieutenant Danilo Khizhnyak, a 23-year-old rescuer, was killed during a hostile attack in Nikopol while aiding wounded civilians. The city mourns the loss of three victims and honors their sacrifice.
