A morning shelling by Russian forces struck the Kramatorsk community in Donetsk region: private houses sustained damage, and destruction in the private sector was also recorded. Local authorities confirm the information, and work is currently underway to determine the scale and consequences of the strike.
“Early on October 26, the Kramatorsk community was under fire. 08:10 – a hit on the private sector. A residential building was damaged; 08:25 – a second hit on the private sector. A strike near a residential building, 08:35 – a strike on the industrial area”
The final consequences of Russian terror are currently being clarified; an assessment of material damage and the number of those injured is ongoing.
Overall, for the last day the situation in Donetsk region remains tense: on October 25, Russian forces shelled the region’s settlements 16 times.
“Their actions show signs of criminal offenses under Article 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ‘Threats or violence against a law enforcement officer’ and Article 194 ‘Deliberate destruction or damage of property’. The relevant notices have been sent to the National Police”
The Security Service and volunteer networks continue to operate in the region to support residents who need help with recovery and relocation after the strikes.
