Near one of the settlements in the Ponornytska community of Chernihiv region, an extraordinary incident occurred: the detonation of a drone’s explosive part injured two teenagers while they were in a wooded area.
The information was confirmed by Oleksandr Seliverstov, head of the Novhorod-Siverskyi District Military Administration.
“Early on November 6, near one of the settlements in the Ponornytska community, two teenagers in a wooded area came across an unknown unmanned aerial vehicle. Instead of reporting the discovery to the National Police or the State Emergency Service, they approached the UAV at a dangerous distance, causing the explosive part to detonate.”
According to the official, one teenager sustained injuries to the neck and chest, the other a laceration to the knee. The condition of the injured is stable; they were promptly transported to the nearest medical facility for treatment.
The head of the RVA emphasized that if unknown objects, UAV debris, etc., are found, it is necessary to immediately notify the National Police of Ukraine or the State Emergency Service.
