Russian artillery strikes in Kharkiv region have led to new civilian casualties, including children.

Region governor Oleh Synehubov reported on Telegram that during the overnight shelling seven people, including two children, were wounded.

The tragedy happened near the town of Chuhuiv where the invaders hit residential areas.

The governor added that the strikes caused fires in the city of Kharkiv and surrounding villages.
