September 30, Russian forces twice struck Kostiantynivka, resulting in injuries to two civilian residents. These data were announced by the head of the Kostyantynivka City Military Administration, Serhiy Gorbunov.
The first strike led to injuries of one person, who independently sought medical assistance at the hospital in Druzhkivka; during the shelling, the facade of a private house was damaged, which Gorbunov confirmed.
According to the official, the second strike caused injuries to another person who sought medical attention at a hospital in Kramatorsk; damage was recorded on the facades of two apartment buildings.
Currently, the relevant services are clarifying the circumstances of the incident and coordinating the provision of aid to the injured, and are also working on restoring the damaged facilities.
Consequences of the shelling and the city authorities’ response
The incident is confirmed by official data: civilians were wounded, and private property as well as multi-family residential buildings were destroyed and damaged. Local authorities are monitoring the developments and ensuring prompt responses from medical staff and civil protection services.
