Two Suspects Arrested in Louvre Robbery Case in France

As reported by Office of the Public Prosecutor of Paris

In France on October 25, law enforcement officers detained two men suspected of being involved in the Louvre robbery. This was announced by the Office of the Public Prosecutor of Paris on X.

According to the agency, one of those detained was arrested at Roissy Airport as he tried to leave the country.

“I strongly condemn the premature disclosure of this information by informed individuals without regard to the needs of the investigation. Such actions can only hinder the work of about a hundred investigators who are pursuing the stolen jewels and those involved in the crime”

Current status of detention and the progress of the investigation

Details about the detainees and the progress of the investigation are not being disclosed at this time. The prosecutor’s office noted that new information will be released after the end of the suspects’ detention period.

The French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez welcomed the detention of the suspects and thanked the investigators for their work.
