The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced a significant increase in the effectiveness of interceptor drones.
The Rising Effectiveness of Interceptor Drones in Modern Defense
“almost every night our sky defenders are at work, repelling Russian attacks. And together with EW units, army aviation, and mobile fire groups, the results of interceptor drones are already significantly increasing: since the start of the month, over 150; there have been shoot-downs tonight. And there will be more”
As Zelensky emphasized,
“we will certainly continue to develop interceptor-drone technology, train crews. The Ministry of Defense contracts all production capacities of interceptors”
Ukraine is also focusing on strengthening cooperation with partners, as joint steps will allow us to accelerate progress.

The President thanked everyone who is working on developing this area and stressed the importance of further evolution of counter-drone systems.
The main steps in securing airspace remain central to leadership’s attention: interceptor drones play a significant role in preserving the country’s defense and strengthening its security.
