Trilateral Contact Group renewed talks in a videoconference call Wednesday, said Ukrainian delegation in a statement on Facebook.

Ukraine’s Olesksiy Reznikov called on Russian delegation to step up on prisoners’ swap.

The meeting also addressed the issue of checkpoints that were earlier blocked by the Russian side restricting travel of Donbas-occupied residents. Ukrainian representatives urged the Russian side to provide for a thorough ceasefire that has seen numerous violations of late.

Another concern is security guarantees for an upcoming IAEA experts’ visit to the occupied territories in Donbas.

The sides agreed to resume talks in two weeks, on September 29.
