He talked about this on the NV Iventy Telegram channel
Mykhailo Fedorov, head of Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation, spoke about a serious threat facing the country’s government resources. They are subjected to approximately 100,000 cyberattacks every month. He shared this information during the NV event “The Great Digital Transformation. Dialogues about the Future.”
“Believe me, the number of attacks happening in cyberspace is incredible. We face 100,000 attacks every month. The state is handling this challenge quite well.”
According to the minister, every employee at the Ministry of Digital Transformation uses specialized software based on artificial intelligence that analyzes activity on laptops and instantly responds to any anomalies.
“If there are anomalies, the system reacts immediately. This way, we have already detected several viruses that even antivirus programs missed.”
Fedorov also emphasized the importance of rapid response to cyberattacks, which is critical for protecting government resources. In this regard, the Ministry has signed an agreement with a major donor who will fund tenders for cybersecurity for both public and private institutions.
In March 2025, CERT-UA team specialist Yevhen Bryksin reported that since the beginning of the year, over a thousand cyberattacks carried out by Russian hackers on Ukrainian organizations have been recorded.
