As reported by JSC “Ukrenergo”
On November 6, hourly power-outage schedules are in effect across Ukraine due to new Russian strikes on the energy infrastructure. In the morning, outages were recorded in Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions, according to Ukrenergo.
The company noted: emergency repair work is being carried out where safety conditions permit.
Due to the challenging situation in the energy system, related to the consequences of Russian shelling, consumption restrictions have been introduced in all regions today. In most regions, hourly outage schedules are in place, and from 08:00 to 22:00 curtailment schedules for industry and business are applied.
The demand for electricity remains high. As of 6:30 a.m. on November 6, consumption was at the level of the previous day; the daily maximum on November 5 was 4.3% lower than the previous day.
Because of the consequences of the attacks and reduced efficiency of solar power plants due to cloudiness, the need for prudent consumption remains throughout the day.
