The Verkhovna Rada approved a draft law amending Article 3 of the Fundamentals of Ukrainian Health Care Legislation.
Bill No. 13682 was supported by 282 members of Parliament.
The aim of the document is to legislatively define the concept of “economic activity in medical practice” at the level of legislation.
According to the enacted law, such activity is work in the health care sector that is subject to licensing in accordance with the Law “On Licensing of Types of Economic Activity.” It may be carried out by health care institutions and individual entrepreneurs for the purpose of providing medical (rehabilitation) care (services) and medical care.
