As reported by the morning briefing of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Over the past day, November 11, the front recorded 217 combat engagements. The enemy was most active in attempting to advance in the Southern Slobozhansky, Kupiansk, Pokrovsk, and Oleksandrivsk directions. It is also reported that total losses of Russian troops for the day amounted to about 1,000. Such data is provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning briefing for November 12.
“Yesterday the enemy struck the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements with one missile and 44 air strikes, used one missile and dropped 44 guided bombs. In addition, it conducted 4,080 shellings, of which 109 were from multiple launch rocket systems, and engaged 3,965 kamikaze drones for strikes”
Russian aviation also delivered strikes on several districts: in particular Lozova in Kharkiv region, Malomykhaylivka in Dnipropetrovsk region, and Zelenyi Hai in Zaporizhzhia.
Defence forces also destroyed a number of enemy targets: two areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, three command and observation posts, a storage facility for unmanned aerial vehicles, and three more other important Russian Army facilities.
In total on November 11, losses of Russian troops amounted to 1,000 soldiers. The Defense Forces also destroyed three armored fighting vehicles, 13 artillery systems, a multiple rocket launcher system, an air defense asset, 162 unmanned aerial vehicles of the operational-tactical level, one unit of specialized equipment and 87 units of enemy automotive equipment.
Frontline situation by directions
Northern Slobozhansky and Kursky directions
On these sectors yesterday there were ten clashes. The Russian army conducted 157 artillery strikes, including 3 from multiple launch rocket systems.
Southern Slobozhansky direction
Seventeen engagements were recorded in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Vovchanske Khutory, Odradne, and toward Dvorichanske.
Kupiansk direction
During the past day there were 18 attacks. The defense forces repelled assault actions in the areas of Kupiansk, Stepove Novooseliivka, Borivska Andriivka and toward Hlushkivka, Petropavlivka and Novoosynove.
Lyman direction
The Russians attacked 12 times, attempting to advance in the areas of Zarichne, Ridkodub, Nadiya, Tverdokhliivske, Kolodyazy and toward Korovyin Yar.
Sloviansk direction
Over the day eight attacks were recorded on Ukrainian positions in the areas of Yampil, Serebryanka, Vyimka and Dronivka.
Kostiantynivka direction
The Russian army carried out 16 attacks in the areas of Bila Hora, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Kostyantynivka, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar and toward Sofiyivka.
Pokrovsk direction
The Ukrainian forces stopped 76 offensive actions in the areas of Volodymyrivka, Nikanorivka, Chervone Lyman, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske and Novomykolaivka.
Oleksandrivka direction
Defence forces repelled 23 attacks near Sosnivka, Stepove, Novomykolaivka, Pershotravneve, Rybne and toward Solodke.
Gulyaypil direction
In the Gulyaypil direction the Ukrainian forces repelled three attacks in the areas of Zelenyi Hai, Solodke and Danivka.
Orikhiv direction
The Russian army attacked Ukrainian defenders’ positions near Prymorske four times.
Kramatorsk and Prydniprovski directions
In these areas the enemy did not carry out offensive actions.
Volyn and Polissia directions
No signs of formation of offensive groups were detected.
The overall frontline picture remains tense: the defence forces continue to hold back the enemy’s advances and destroy its military equipment and ammunition.
