Oleksiy Danylov, the NSDC Secretary,  said that the decision got approval in a closed session held Friday.

‘We really had a closed meeting to discuss creation of cyber military troops [..] The only thing I can tell is that all of 21 NSDC members who were in attendance supported the decision unanimously,’ said Danylov.

He broke the news during his interview for “Svoboda slova” TV show saying that Volodymyr Zelensky will soon sign a special presidential order.

Eariler that day, deputy prime minister Mykhailo Fedoriv informed that Ukraine has adopted a 5-year strategy set to advance Ukraine’s cybersecurity.

The governmental official chose not to provide any details about the cyber force objectives and personnel numbers.
