As reported by the online media Suspilne.
On June 20, a slight cooling is expected in Ukraine, with air temperatures ranging from +15 to +21 degrees Celsius. In the southern part of the country, the thermometer may rise to +25 degrees. This information was provided by meteorologist Natalka Didenko in her forecast.
The wind will be gusty, coming from the northwest, reaching storm force in some areas, with speeds of 15–20 meters per second.
“Why is this happening? Because Ukraine is currently situated between an anticyclone in the west and a cyclone in the east. The clash of these two opposing atmospheric systems, with a high atmospheric front and low atmospheric pressure, creates conditions for strengthening the wind.”
At night, rain with thunderstorms is expected in the south, west, and north of the country. During the day, precipitation will occur in the northern regions, particularly in Volyn, Rivne, and Kharkiv areas. No precipitation is expected in other regions.
In Kyiv on June 20, cooling and possible rain with thunderstorms are also forecast. Air temperatures will drop to +16–18 degrees, and the wind will be northwesterly with strong gusts.
On Saturday, the weather will remain cool, but warming is expected by Sunday.
Don’t miss other news:
